Imène Azeli was called to the Algerian Bar Association in 2005. She is a graduate of the University of Algiers, Faculty of Law and Administrative Sciences.

Before joining Ghellal & Mekerba, Imene developed a solid experience in civil, commercial and labor litigation and pled before many Algerian courts.

Since joining the firm, she steadily increased the strength of her practice and has advised many prominent companies in labor, commercial and contractual issues. She also participated in several legal audits within the framework of privatization.

Imene has published an article entitled “New Regulation to Encourage Foreign Investment” (Please see publications). She speaks Arabic, French, English and Spanish.
